Any person who claims to know everything is at the lowest rung of the “stages of competence”- “unconscious incompetence”.
We are all always learning, building upon and challenging previous knowledge (conscious incompetence) . If we are not then we are unconsciously incompetent.
-that is a basically a disclaimer saying this is the best science I can find at this time- but things may change in the future-
This blog is a summation of work that I do outside of work to get the best answers for my patients, my athletes and myself.
I am sharing on here with the hope that the knowledge shared will help other athletes, or Physios/EPs/Coaches working with athletes (or anyone!) to reach their full potential.
Hopefully a golden nugget of information here or there may even save a few athlete careers and save many people a lot of distress.
Recovery, Injury Rehab, Adaptation to training and Performance are also hugely impacted upon by numerous lifestyle factors – (Sleep, Diet, Psychology, CNS load, total system stress including work/emotional/immunity/weather stressors etc etc) Human bodies are complex systems and I hope to address numerous factors which are not often given enough consideration.
